Dear Prospective Member:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding membership in the Broward County Music Teachers Association. In order to become a BCMTA member, membership in the national (MTNA) and state (FSMTA) organizations is required as well. Enclosed are membership forms for each. Please visit each of the websites at www.mtna.org and www.fmta.org for more information.
To complete the application process:
1) Please click on the links below to complete the applications. Be sure to carefully read the FSMTA Code of Ethics and sign your agreement to abide by them.

2) In addition, please enclose two copies of your transcripts showing all college/university level work and degrees awarded. You may submit two photocopies of your diploma if you prefer.
3) Enclose one check in the amount of $120.00 made payable to FSMTA. This includes all necessary fees of $65.00 to MTNA, $40.00 to FSMTA, and $15.00 to BCMTA. These fees pay your dues through June of 2011. (We can’t accept a credit card for first time applicants.)
4) Please make one extra copy of each form after completion AND of your transcripts or degree. (total of two (2) copies of each item) Return application forms, transcripts and/or copy of degree, one photocopy of each, and your check to:
